Pop · KISS: Psycho Circus · Art

My immersion into POP ART can be traced back to one super-star artist, Andy Warhol, and a larger-than-life rock band, KISS. You see, KISS helps me to stay focused and determined on living and breathing POP ART.

I am without a doubt inspired by the many great pop artists that came before, but whenever I need a boost to create art, KISS does an excellent job getting me motivated and super-inspired. I don't know what it is, I listen and enjoy an abundance of musical genres, but for some reason I always return to KISS.

KISS · POP ART · Statuettes

I admire and appreciate too many kinds of ART forms. My appreciation for ART spans from films, animations, short-films, music of all kinds, literature, screenplays, figures, video games, cultural artifacts, sacred objects and it goes on and on. ART is literally everywhere.

With that, I will share with you these KISS collectible statuettes of each member by McFarlene Toys. Somehow, someway, in my POP ART brain, these KISS mini-bust represent POP ART.

If given the opportunity to bring these figures to life, I would most likely have sculpted them exactly how they're presented. They never cease to endlessly motivate and inspire me to create ART.

Pop Art · Sculptures

Greetings,

Sometime in the very near future I will be unleashing sculptures. I have begun brainstorming, drawing, sketching and conjuring up a series of super-pop art sculptures. The names featured in the framed work of art posted above are artists who have inspired me to immerse myself in living a truly pop art life.
