New Video-Art / Short Film: ROOM SIZE UNIVERSE

Here's brand new work of video-art/short film that features more frames than my other video works. Unlike my other video-art creations, I didn't create this one in one day-in a manic haze. Instead, it took nearly three days to make and I was, surprisingly, super-relaxed.

There was no mapping-out or storyboarding used in the creation of ROOM SIZE UNIVERSE. I just let my hands and subconscious lead the way while I conjured-up this new video. I enjoyed making it immensely and hope you get something, anything out of it.

New Video-Art: Mind's Eye Path

Mind's Eye Path (2013)
At the beginning of 2013 I immersed myself in making Graffiti Sketch Art. I had this urge to push this new art series into other mediums or boundaries. At first I wanted to create works of video-art to coincide with my Graffiti Sketch Art creations, but video-art did not seem to accompany Graffiti Sketch Art-at least in my wacky head: VIDEO-ART + Graffiti Sketch Art did not compliment one another so well. I mean, the energy in creating the two art forms was there...

And so, I totally delved into producing music to expand my admiration for creating Graffiti. With the awesome energy I got from producing works of Graffiti, I was able to make a hybrid of drum and bass/industrial music that nicely complimented and expanded my admiration for Graffiti. The way I make works of art was about the same way I was able to construct music: There is no planning, there only that desire to conjure up magic.

Through my journey of making music, and deprogramming, reconstructing remixes of my songs-which I really love making-I guess that's my Warholian pop-art side shinning through, I was suddenly propelled into not only creating sound collages and soundscapes, but I was suddenly able to finally create a work of video-art

Creating a video art/short film feature is absolutely fun and nerve wrecking, but in a good way, you see. I don't create storyboards or plan anything out before hand, I just...create. Anytime I make a video feature, a piece of my sanity is heavily on the line. I DO NOT rest or stop to reflect when I construct these video-art features. I just let my subconscious lead the way while I manically create away. Afterwards, I am able to see why I did or created something a certain way.

Music featured in this video, as well as extra music + rare artwork, is available here ['Soundtrack']:

6-track album features New & Reconstructed Music
• 4 alternate versions of the video-art piece (WMV files)
• 5 printable album sleeve designs (300 dpi)
• 7 original art stills that were used in the video
• 4 1600 x 1200 desktop wallpaper designs

Focused, Determined + Brainstorming @ 170 BPM

Greetings, Hello & Hola!

I've been super-busy creating: music, art, 'designing', compiling an art book featuring 2012 & 2013 art, & reading 5 books at the same time - I'm a poly-reader.

I posted my contact information above so you can contact me about anything Pescoran Art related (paintings, drawings, designs, video-art, music, art books, art prints, etc.) or if you wanna just say, "Hello!"

I've come to the realization and acceptance that I am a multimedia artist. I absolutely love and cannot stop creating, and totally immerse myself in using available tools & technology to express myself.

When creating art, never limit yourself and always use whatever tools you can to bring your vision to life. It is always good to 'branch out' and teach yourself to use different mediums in order to take your art to new and different horizons.

"THINK FAST" Surreal Pop Graffiti Sketch 2013

Here's a taste, sample and preview of things to come.
Drum and Bass + Graffiti Sketch + Surreal Pop

RECAP: Usually, when I create art or focus on an art series, I always like to indulge in other art medium to expand whatever current art series I'm working on. Last couple of years I delved into making works of video-art to accompany and coincide with my artwork. You can see my video-art works here:

This year I've decided to create music to go with with new art series': Graffiti Sketch BOMBZ + REAN!MATOR & Surreal MANGA Pop. Making video-art to go with these works of art just didn't feel right. I felt the need to really express myself and make something that was, well...loud. And making drum and bass tunes is what I'm currently doing right now. For the past two years I was making piano-driven music just for fun, with no intention of releasing it. But with this new artwork I was inspired to create drum and bass tunes to go along with it and will most definitely release an album sometime soooon.

I was never one to limit myself and just be a painter. Although I really love painting I also immerse myself in drawing non-stop, too. As well as manically drawing I also indulge in 'designing' and so and so forth. Creating music is something I find quite challenging and very rewarding. Who knows, maybe next year I'm gonna focus on making monstrous statues or super-outrageous Happenings. If I have a disorder than it's my constant urge, need to create art.

 NEW DRUM and BASS _ dnb _ Wallpaper - Image size: 1600 x 1200.

I decided to take a week long break from producing music (LiSTEN), but managed to get some artwork done. I had to step back and regenerate my mind, body and soul from manically composing, creating, producing non-stop.

Although I totally enjoy immersing myself in creating art, music, etc. I am well aware that it's a wise decision to step back from whatever it is you've been consistently creating, and properly regenerate yourself. There's nothing wrong with being nutty, just don't lose focus of your goal

"Graffiti Mechnica", the album I'm currently working on--mixing and mastering--will be unleashed on May. And the EP, "Dreams Restored" is going to be available on June 10.
