Quechua Book II: NEWS

Quechua Book II

Quechua Book II is coming along nicely. I’m aiming for a January release. There’s still some remixing, fine tuning and other technical writing & designing things that need to be carefully taken care of.

JAKU RIPUNA: Quechua Beyond the Infinite will be a more in-depth book. Unlike the first Quechua book, which was super-basic intro to Quechua, Book II will feature super-useful sentences, handy words and helpful  phrases that will assist you on using in your day-to-day life. This is the book I originally wanted to create and release, but careful steps needed to be taken before getting to this phase:

• QUECHUA Book I: Fun & Enjoyable
Numbers | Colors | Places | Nature
Book format: Big + Basic

• QUECHUA Book II: Super-Useful
Useful Sentences | Q & A | Helpful Phrases
Book format: Small + Travel Size

My number one goal is for you, the reader, to be able to incorporate Quechua sentences and phrases in your daily routine. Like the first Quechua Book, I aim to make it an enjoyable experience. Quechua Book II will be available on a handy, bite-size, travel size book.

80s ☆ High Gear ☆

📚 BOOK II UPDATE 📚

Quechua Book II is still in the works and it’s coming along somewhat nicely. It’s a beast of a project ‘cause there’s a WHOLE LOTTA translating and remixing to be done.

Quechua Book II is a wee bit more complicated than Book I ‘cause this time there’s phrases and sentences involved. Being equipped with loads of Perseverance + Imagination is very important when taking on a massive project involving various languages, and also, striving to make it an enjoyable experience for the reader.

Jaku Ripuna! | Come On! | ¡Vámonos!

The General Lee & K.I.T.T.

And now, for our feature presentation.

Rewind back to the early 80s, when I was a T.V. maniac, these two shows + cars: K.I.T.T (Knight Rider) & The General Lee (The Dukes of Hazzard) captivated and mesmerized me like no other 80s cartoon could.

Both shows offered memorable, funny and great characters as well as music that has never stopped playing in my subconscious. My love for the Synth 🎹 and that infectious 🎸 Twang can be traced back to these two amazingly entertaining T.V. shows.

Oh yes, I still randomly watch both shows and they’re charming and immensely enjoyable.

Quechua for All 📚 Book News

Jaku Ripuna!Let’s Go! | ¡Vámonos!

LiFE: Random, Chaotic, Silly, Lovely, Sober, Buzzed, Focused, Lucid, Today, Tomorrow, Forever, Never, Sometimes, Always, Pisco, Chicha, Whenever, Dreamy, Nightmarish, Here, Now, Jaku Ripuna!

Quechua book 2 is nearly complete. There’s still a wee bit of creating, conjuring up, remixing, arranging and rearranging that must be done.

This book is what I originally planned on unleashing some years ago, but decided not to because I thought it would be better to take easy, careful steps first.

Once the basics of Runasimi: Quechua book 1 were built on a solid foundation, then we could proceed with phrases and sentences.

When we lose our language, we lose our essence. Who we are is our language.

Indigenous languages of the world really are living languages, they come from an oral tradition. We develop the brain so that we can remember everything about natural law, the natural universe, and everything within, and also, how to live. And it’s all in our languages.”

NUNA Project | EXTRADO 1

Project Quechua: NUNA Project

EXTRADO 1
Extrado in Latin
means Give Away.

Some years ago I had a powerful desire to want to learn the Hopi | Hopílavayi language. Something deep inside me, somewhere in the labyrinth of my subconscious, there was a thirst to absorb all the Hopi language I could retain in my spirit.

My need to want to immerse myself in learning how to say basic, useful Hopi words most likely stems from my love and admiration of the Kachinas. Absolutely everything about the Kachinas illuminate my mind, heart and spirit. My Kachina dolls, along with Hopi Lightning Stick, never cease to inspire me, wether in my art or life in general.

So now, after all these years, I’m finally getting around to learning useful, basic Hopi words that I can hopefully utilize in my daily life. I’m taking careful steps now: easy, basic words and then, eventually, super-useful phrases. I’m aware of the different dialects and will decide which one to focus on when the time arrives.

Let’s go, I have some words I’d
like share and give away to you…

Quechua • Hopi • English • Español
STAR • SUN • RAIN • EAGLE

Feel free to download + share pictures.
They make excellent wallpaper, too.

Star: Quechua | Hopi

Sun: Quechua | Hopi

Rain: Quechua | Hopi

Eagle: Quechua | Hopi

Machu Picchu | Machu Pikchu

Project Quechua

Machu Picchu • Machu Pikchu

Machu Picchu is two Quechua words that roughly translates to "old mountain.” Machu Picchu is the most famous and popular Inca archaeological ruin in the world. The city is divided in two sections: Hanan and Urin according to In c a tradition.

Machu Picchu was so well hidden that the Spanish Conquistadors, thankfully, never found it.

Most of the city is constructed using the classic dry polished rock method of placing stone on stone without mortar, known as ashlar. To this day, we still do not exactly understand how the Inca managed to move and place such large stones with such precision. Wheels were not used to transport immensely heavy rocks for the construction of the city.

Machu Picchu was a royal estate built for the Inca king, Pachacutec around 1450. The city is thought to have been either a country estate for the emperor, or an important place of worship. The exact purpose of the site is still a mystery.

The historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu is full of cultural significance. Its various sites, complexes, monuments and citadels are intertwined with each other and with their environment. This is a unique artistic achievement and also a masterpiece of architecture. Everything is sacred andcultural and is related to each other, including the natural environment in which it is built upon.

Today, Machu Picchu continues to represent a truly mysterious masterpiece of architectural and engineering ingenuity, and the icon of Inca civilization.

Art News + Update

Hello! Hola! Haykuykuy!

Right after I unleashed this book
I decided I should take a much needed break from focusing non-stop. I've been spending my time regenerating my soul with music, films, books, Star TrekKISS and DOOM

Originally, I planed on continuing with my super-focus mode after completing my Quechua book, but I have come to the realization that it would be better if I took some time off.

You see, my next move is to create some pretty big, Big, BIg, BIG, HUGE: 5ft x 4ft - 60" x 48" surreal pop-art paintings and other sizes, of course. I'm hoping to be fully energized before the year is over so that way I can totally conjure up, display, and sell this next art series.

Please continue to indulge in music, books, films, games and other super-creative stuff. There is so much art out there for you to appreciate and admire. There's nothing quite like stimulating your mind with art.
